Berlin, Germany (Gastrosofie). Not only Slow Food comes from Italy, but also „Slow Ariva“. Carlo Petrini founded Slow Food with like-minded people in 1986, based in Bra, Italy. Its motto is „Buono, pulito e giusto“ (good, clean and fair). This also applies to the „Slow Ariva“ coffee box from Omkafè.
No question, the coffee for Omkafè is neither seasonal nor regional, but from all over the world, where the bean grows between 23 degrees north and 25 degrees south latitude. Now what comes from the coffee belt is at its best „good, clean and fair“ or „Slow Ariva“. The manufacturer Omkafè S.r.l. from Arco on the Sarca River, just before it flows into Lake Garda: „The innovative extraction method with V60, combined with the organic and fair trade blend of Omkafè, ensures a very special moment of relaxation.“
The coffee box for currently 39.90 euros contains a ceramic V60 in dark brown, a package with white paper filters, a coffee spoon in light wood and an Ariva mug, i.e. a coffee mug, also in dark brown, as well as the best organic and fair trade coffee.
The „Ariva Mokka“ can with 250 g of ground 100% Arabica coffee is a blend of fine organic Arabic coffee varieties. Included are natural SHB from Peru, washed Altura from Bolivia and washed Sidamo from Ethiopia.
The beans were slowly roasted in a traditional drum roaster. As soon as the pack filled with the protective nitrogen is opened, the scent of coffee in general and chestnut honey, vanilla and citrus fruits in particular unfolds in our editorial kitchen and in yours – even if you’re not a yogi. Incidentally, the can currently costs 8.10 euros.
