This family business, lead by the heirs Carlo and Eduardo Vallone, takes great care to evaluate the territory and its local grape varieties. The brothers lead the enterprise with passion and competence keeping old traditions of 1690 onward alive. The nice sounding but also strange name Santi Dimitri comes from the Greek mother goddess Demeter. Cornerstones of the winery are experiment and innovation, with an emphasis put on the selection of Negroamaro clones as well as Aleatico and Primitivo clones to save these from extinction.
